SIJCC Parent and Me Registration Process
Parent & Me Class is for children aged 14 to 24 months.
Parent & Me classes provide a special time for parent and child to be together in an enriching environment. It is a guided social environment for children; it is a place for parents to learn early childhood education practices and to spend time with other families. Parent & Me classes are an important step into the preschool world. It takes place on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 pm and Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00 pm and is an invaluable way to introduce you and your child to the school environment.
To Register for Parent and Me, we ask that families go online and register specifically for the session that they would like to attend. You must reregister for each new session you want to attend. There is a 2 week online registration period prior to the beginning of each session(dates are on the online Calendar), during this period go to our website and select the “Activity Registration Form” button on the left side of the page (or click the link below). Please register for a specific class(Tuesday or Wednesday) by selecting the appropriate Class Code (found on the Activity Schedule). Please register for only one class per session. If you are able to attend either day, register for your first choice and then indicate your flexibility in the notes session of the registration form. If you are currently enrolled in the Parent and Me program, you still must reregister for each new session (see below for priority admission).
Activity Registration Form
You can register any time during the 2 week period and you will receive an automatic confirmation of your registration. The order in which you register will not determine your admission to the program. In the week prior to the start of the class, you will receive an e-mail indicating if there is space available for your child. At that time, you will be asked to pay for the class online. If you are informed that a space is not available for your child in this session, you must re-register during the registration period for the next session. Priority is given to those who are currently enrolled in a previous Parent and Me session as well as siblings and SIJCC alumni families.
If we are unable to accommodate you in our Parent and Me program, we apologize and ask that you continue checking our website in the future. We are developing new programs in hopes that we will be able to accommodate more of our community.
While attendance in the Parent and Me program is a good way to learn about our preschool and determine if the SIJCC is a good fit for your family, this is not the only way to be part of our community. Explore the community events, volunteer opportunities and celebrations. These are open to the public and you can find more information and details on our Activities page.
Preschool registration is a separate process from signing up for the Parent and Me program. You can find more information about our preschool admissions process by going to our “Preschool Admission Policies” under “Registration.” If you are interested in being added to the Preschool Registration list you must submit the Preschool Registration Form by clicking on the button to the right, thanks
