Quick & Dirty ESJ Shabbes: A ‘Drunk History’ style retelling of the Passover story

KICK OFF YOUR FRIDAY NIGHT WITH PRAYER AND INSPIRATION, ESJ STYLE!

This Week:

A Collective, ‘Drunk History’ style retelling of the Passover story.

If you missed the group attempt at telling the Purim story — you’re in luck! We’re going at it again.

How much you know of the Pesach story!? Maybe you're an actual Torah scholar, maybe you watched a lot of the Rugrats Passover episode, or maybe you got kicked out of Religious School after that nasty Afikomen prank. No matter who you are it's time to "drunk history" the Pesach story... together.... and on Zoom. We can't wait to see your little rectangles!

BYO matzah, wine, candles, truly whatever you want. As it is said, "Let My People Go."

Whether you’re counting the days, or wondering what month it is, take a moment for yourself to commemorate Shabbat this week. Our quick and dirty East Side Jews hang-out is the perfect virtual spot to bring your friends or make some new ones. Whether you have a regular Shabbat practice or feel like creating one, we hope you’ll join in for some Friday night magic.

BAKE THAT BREAD. POUR SOME WINE OR LA CROIX. LIGHT YOUR CANDLES AND SAGE…

BECAUSE, WHY NOT?

You Can Always Expect: Some art, some prayers, casual vibes, and damn good chat.
