The Future is Peace

About the Evening

An evening about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the possibility of peace, and what it takes to see each other’s humanity.

Comedians Sarah Silverman and Maz Jobrani will host and moderate a conversation with Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon, the Palestinian and Israeli co-authors of the New York Times bestseller The Future Is Peace.

The Future Is Peace explores grief, inherited trauma, an unlikely friendship, and the possibility of reconciliation. Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon have brought this message to audiences around the world, including meetings with Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, NPR’s Fresh Air, and TED.

Sarah Silverman and Maz Jobrani will bring humor, candor, and intelligence to a subject that can otherwise feel overwhelming and difficult to discuss.

The event is not intended to be a comedy show or a traditional political panel. Rather, it is a thoughtful and deeply personal evening about grief, empathy, peace, and how people continue talking when circumstances feel impossible, with honesty, warmth, and room for humor.

Net ticket proceeds will go to InterAct, a nonprofit, whose mission is to amplify the message that peace is possible by inspiring, teaching and supporting Palestinian and Israeli communities.
