WHAT IS MASTER DEBATER!?

For the fifth year in a row, attendees of this event will be transported into a ridiculous, hilarious, and probably uncomfortable family living room by way of our 2021 event! Not your typical Chanukah party, Master Debater is a no holds barred show where two teams of Jews face off in three rounds of high school style debate. The teams, made up of shrewd comedians, witty rabbis, nerds, normies, and more, argue the most pressing issues of our tradition. Previous topics include: NY Jews vs. LA Jews, Plagues: Real or Fake, Circumcision: yay or nay, and many more. This year is extra special as we’ll be incorporating live musical elements, a giant menorah candle lighting, and special VIP cocktail hour!

BET ON THE “MOST VALUABLE DEBATER”

Competition this year is fierce. Place your bets on who you believe will come out on top, and win the title of MVD 2021. Bet on one, two, or as many as you wish! Those who ended up choosing the winning MVD will get an additional prize.

RAFFLE

Money spent between your tickets (prices offered on a sliding scale), VIP upgrades, &/or betting on an “MVD”, will get you entries into a special raffle!

VIP COCKTAIL HOUR

Get into the spirit with a private cocktail hour before the event even begins! Fill your bellies and sip specialty drinks with the 2021 debaters prior to them hitting the stage.

WHAT ABOUT COVID?

Proof of full vaccination is REQUIRED upon entry. This event is outdoors and mask wearing is highly encouraged whenever possible. We ask that guests DO NOT ATTEND if recently exposed COVID-19, or if experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
